Characteristics of two rock Glaciers in the dry Argentinean Andes

based on initial surface investigations

July / August 2015

GEC S.A. conducted a high resolution shallow refraction tomography survey for a planned dam project in the Tucuman province nearby the town of Alpachiri for the consulting firm Lande & Asociados. A total of 6 km of seismic lines were performed.

October / Dezember 2015

GEC S.A. conducted a CSAMT survey for lithium exploration over the Arizaro salar claims optioned by Eramine Southamerica in the Salta Province, northern Argentina. Main survey objective was the identification and detailed definition of brine bearing formations. Further purposes of the survey were to map geologic stratigraphy and structures relative to the occurrence of lithium brine, identify layers that were thought to be representative of lithium bearing brine and to provide any additional information or interpretations regarding subsurface geology conditions or characteristics of surficial material.

February / March 2016

GEC S.A. conducted a 25 km high resolution seismic refraction tomography survey for lithium exploration over the Llullaillaco salar claims optioned by International Lithium Corporation in the Salta province in the north of Argentina. Main survey objective was the identification and detailed definition of brine bearing formations.
